Custom Printing

Many of our products can be custom printed. Contact your McNairn Packaging representative for details.

One proof is allowed at no extra charge. Alterations may require additional charges. Quotes are only valid for 60 days from the quoted date. Please send all final artwork in electronic format - Macintosh platform preferred in Illustrator or Indesign. Electronic files will be pre-flighted/checked within 24 hours of file receipt and any problems will be conveyed to the customer within 48 hours.

*Dielines must be obtained from McNairn Packaging. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Customer proofs will be provided electronically via email or real-time, on-line proofing system and are not to be used for color, only design layout and/or placement within a dieline. Draw-downs/swatches must be approved for all final artwork to proceed to press. Spot cut designs require a 1/4" white space on all four sides of sheet. Custom prints available, minimums applicable.

  • All printing is flexographic using water based inks
  • Line screen 65 - 120. Standard is 85
  • Standard 4 color. 5 color available on select equipment
  • Minimum dot 3%
  • Registration Tolerance: +/-1/16"
  • Trapping Specs: .020" where possible or half-way under keylines
  • Type/Line Specs: 5pt. For positive copy, 9pt. for reverse copy, 2pt. positive/negative keyline
  • Spot Cut Maximum: 15" x 20" Final Sheet Size
